Ghost Recon

My name is Jonathan "Skippy" Schwarz and I

compulsively create games

I grew up rabidly playing every type of game I could get my hands on. Early on, it became habit for me to take board and card games apart to create my own games. I developed house rules for Candyland. I discovered role playing games and over the years have grown a small arsenal of game manuals for a large number of RPG systems.

The Atari was released when I was a kid and I played as much as my parents would let me. Back then, arcades could pay their electric bills from just one of my visits. Today, my wife fears that we may one day drown in a pile of unpainted Warhammer minis.

Anything can touch off an idea for a game. And once I begin creating a game, my focus is so intense that I may not sleep for a night and my wife must remind me to eat.

When I left the Army over five years ago, I thought about my interests and what I wanted to do with my life, I realized the answer was obvious: do what I love and just MAKE GAMES.
